Credentials
Media credentials for 3 Rivers Music Festival 2006 are available
only to reporters and photographers working on assignment for
a newspaper, magazine, radio or television station, or network.
All freelancers must be on assignment. To request a media badge,
outlets should mail a request on official letterhead, signed
by an editor or news director and a copy of the publication,
if applicable, to the address above.
Requests can also be faxed or emailed. Your request should be
received prior to the close of business on Friday, April 7, 2006.
Please
also
indicate
if you are willing to provide tear sheets of your coverage following
this year's event.
Media Check-In
Advance media check-in will be at Festival headquarters located
at 1511 Taylor Street. Passes may be picked up Thursday,
April 20 and Friday, April 21. On-site media check-in
will also be available for pre-approved media outlets. You will
be required
to show your picture ID and credentials to check out your media
pass. By requesting media passes, you agree to abide by all Festival
regulations.
Interviews
3 Rivers Music Festival maintains an experienced on-site media
relations team in order to provide you with the greatest possible
assistance. To increase the chances of getting the interviews
you desire, please submit your interview requests as early as
possible. Interviews will not be setup at the festival. For more

Photography
The 3 Rivers Music Festival photography policy is the first three
songs from the pit unless otherwise authorized. Some acts may
prohibit photography entirely by contract. Please abide by the
instructions of the stage managers and/or media relations team
members at all times.
Backstage Policy
Media credentials do not guarantee you access to backstage and
other off-limits areas. To be sure you have access to necessary
areas for interviews, photography, etc., please make sure you
have been in contact with the festival media coordinator in advance
of the festival and have made arrangements to be escorted to

Parking
Request for on-site vehicle parking will be granted on a first-come,
first-serve basis. Please specify your parking needs.
